Hi! I'm Shelley.  It's been great fun dancing with La Hadien.  When I first saw the advertisement for belly dance lessons at the Morgan Hill Community & Cultural Center I thought, sounds fun I’ll give it a try.  I never imagined I would become so passionate about it.  Working in the ever changing world of Real Estate and being a Mom to my energetic 11 year old son, Belly Dancing has become a creative outlet that has helped to balance out my life.   I’ve been belly dancing for just over 3 years.  I know it’s something I’ll be doing for many years to come.

One of the great things I love about belly dancing is that no matter what your level of experience, Belly Dancers are always encouraging and sharing their passion with one another.

Enjoy the pictures throughout our website.  We hope to see you out at one of our performances soon!

My name is Christine. I am a happily married mother of four.  I began dancing with Mo'Menein in 2006.  We formed La Hadien in 2007.  Dancing is a wonderful creative outlet.  I feel that belly dance is mesmerizing, expressive, tasteful and joyous.  I always look forward to our practices and performances.  I love everything about the dance. I am proud and honored to be part of our dynamic troupe.  What could be better then having a reason to dress in elaborate costuming, put on wild make up, wear bells in your hair and bells on your hips      and dance amazing choreography with amazing women?   "JUST KEEP DANCING!"
